Successful candidates will start in a Utility Associate role, gaining hands-on experience while learning our products, processes, and industry.
As your skills develop, you will receive training on a variety of equipment and manufacturing operations, including manual machinery, mechanical equipment, and CNC machines.
What You'll Do
- Learn and operate a variety of machine tools and manufacturing equipment
- Inspect finished products to Cleveland Steel Tool quality standards
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
- Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as needed
- Train to safely operate a forklift, hand pallet jack, and overhead crane
- Read blueprints, shop cards, and production documentation
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to quickly learn and perform a variety of manufacturing tasks
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and shop documentation, or willingness to learn
- Dependable work ethic and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply
