At Cleveland Road Animal Hospital, our Urgent Care team is often the first place pet owners turn when they're worried about a sick or injured family member. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic, and customer-focused Urgent Care Receptionist who loves people just as much as they love pets.

What You'll Do
As the first face and voice our clients encounter, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience during what can be a stressful time.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and their pets with kindness, empathy, and professionalism
- Checking patients in and out efficiently
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Communicating with doctors and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate medical records
- Helping create a welcoming, organized, and positive environment for our clients and team
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who is:
- Friendly, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Motivated and self-driven
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask
- A great communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Positive, dependable, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting
- Veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
Schedule
Our Urgent Care is open 7 days a week, and team members work a rotating schedule. You are not expected to work every shift listed below.
Clinic hours:
- Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
A rotating weekend schedule is required.
