Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd or 3rd shift

Due to additional business growth, we are adding another shift to our production & packing facility here in Cleveland.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to):

· Preventative maintenance on all Food Production & Packaging equipment

· Breakdown Maintenance on all equipment

· Maintain PM maintenance logs to comply with Food Safety and Operational requirements

· Keep tools, parts and spare equipment organized and in working order

· Parts ordering

· Tool ordering

· Facility maintenance (electrical, water & plumbing, compressed gas, doors, hardware, over facility, etc.)

· Be able to conduct yourself in an environment where food is made and not introduce foreign material contaminants and hazards to the product line.

o Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (hairnet, beard net, handwashing, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Specifically troubleshooting and repairing motors, VFDs, gearboxes, conveyors, PLCs, electrical issues, etc.

2. Top notch organizational skills

3. Great verbal and written communication skills

4. "Go Getter" attitude - not afraid to show initiative

5. Creative problem solving

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids.
