Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Cleveland Housing Authority's facilities and multi family residential properties.

- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure that properties are maintained in a manner that ensures quality and safety
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and electrical components
- Repair or replace water heaters
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances
- Basic repairs and troubleshooting of HVAC systems
- Basic carpentry tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries with residents
- Maintain accurate records for work orders and inventory control
- Painting and preparation of vacant units for turnover
- Other maintenance related tasks
Basic qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Tennessee driver's license and be insurable under Cleveland Housing Authority's automobile insurance
Preferred qualifications
- At least one year of hands on maintenance experience
- Experience in residential painting
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving with a focus on safety and efficiency.
