Cleveland Gear Company, a long-standing leader in worm gearing and industrial speed reducers, is seeking an experienced Gear Manufacturing Engineer to drive precision, quality, and process excellence on our production floor.
What You’ll Do
- Lead gear hobbing, shaping, and grinding process development
- Create and improve manufacturing methods, CNC/NC programs, and operation sequences
- Design tooling, fixtures, hobs, gauges, and inspection plans
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with Engineering
- Champion cost reduction, quality improvements, and ISO compliance
What You Need
- Direct experience in gear hobbing, shaping, and grinding (required)
- Strong CNC programming skills
- Background in tooling/fixture/hob design
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
