Summary:
The purpose of this position is to be cross-trained in all clinics and any new clinics that may be added in the future and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed and supervised under the Public Health Nurse Supervisor.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:
" cross trained across all clinical services areas (Primary Care, Maternal Care, Family Planning, Child Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, BCCP, Wisewoman, General Services, Employee Health and Wellness).
" Follow clinics individual policies and standing orders.
" Provide comprehensive preventive, rehabilitative and treatment services.
" Provide medical, clinical, educational support and referral services. Perform medical screenings and testing.
" Follow up with lab results and referrals from clinics. Assist with mobile screening bus, as needed.
