- Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Health and Physical Education (K-12) license area.
- Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in Health and Physical Education with at least 15 semester hours in Physical Education and 9 semester hours in Health; OR, Praxis II test 5856 Health and Physical Education Content Knowledge
- Examples of related courses include:
- Health, Health Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science
- Eligibility for the residency entry license must be established prior to a contract offer.
