ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE LICENSURE

  • Candidates must hold and be HQ in the English as a Second Language (110) license area.
  • Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in English and/or Linguistics; OR passing English to Speakers of Other Languages PRAXIS II scores.
  • Eligibility for the residency license must be established prior to a contract offer.
