Description: Cleveland Controls is a leader in the design, application and installation of controls and instrumentation to measure, and control air flow. Our products are found worldwide in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC applications. Our products are designed and manufactured in the United States. Fast-paced environment and willing to train.
Hourly Rate: $18 per hour, plus $1.00 an hour differential for 2nd shift.
Currently Hiring For: 1st and 2nd shift
Hours:
1st shift - Monday - Thursday, 4:00am-2:30pm
2nd shift - Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am
Responsibilities:
- Work within a team to assemble products and components repeatedly both on and off the assembly line.
- Adhering to detailed assembly procedures and work instructions.
- Read and interpret spec sheets to assemble components into finished products.
- Rotate through tasks to learn the entire production process for your assigned production line.
- Performing simple quality checks on individual parts and finished products
- Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks.
- Positioning and aligning parts according to specifications
- Prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain an orderly and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Able to read and interpret spec sheets of products.
- Able to lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Able to work with basic hand tools.
- Has a basic knowledge of computers.
