As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize targeted exercises and therapeutic techniques to help patients improve strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination. This work supports the development of an expert-driven, internally designed program that may complement existing initiatives. You will help distinguish how movement-based therapy can be incorporated broadly, in contrast to chiropractic or other modalities, while ensuring current providers’ roles are respected. Ultimately, your guidance and encouragement will motivate patients to work hard and regain their health.
This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working days between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Minimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. - Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments, ensuring the care, safety and well-being of the patient.
- Review and evaluate patient response or lack thereof to treatment and make recommendations to the physician relative to the need to continue or discontinue physical therapy treatment.
- Provide appropriate documentation for each patient visit.
- Maintain all equipment and apparatus.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the department.
- Provide appropriate billing for each patient’s visit.
- Assist in on-the-job training of all ancillary personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree or certificate
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a related international degree
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Internship experience
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
