As a Radiologist Technologist, you will use your knowledge and learned skills to operate various types of x-ray equipment, including stationary unity, mobile machines, C-arms and fluoroscopy systems, to provide physicians with images to help diagnose conditions. On this team, your efforts can help facilitate a welcoming, calming and healing environment to relieve any discomfort or unease patients may feel throughout the exam process. A PRN (as needed) caregiver in this position works varying hours.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Minimum hourly: $34.00
Maximum hourly: $34.00

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
- Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Maintain documentation.
- Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
- Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
