As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients with injuries or diseases which result in loss or impairment of speech, language, voice, cognitive and/or swallowing function. Minimum hourly: $48.00
Maximum hourly: $48.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. - Evaluate and treat patients with injuries and/or diseases which result in a loss or impairment of speech, language, voice, cognitive and/or swallowing function.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
- Establish goals and plans of care.
- Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard speech therapy techniques and skills.
- Complete documentation.
- Master’s Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program
- Current Ohio license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Hold or have applied for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association
- Experience in a clinical area
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform tasks needed for patient care and administrative tasks.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
