Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Cleveland Clinic Florida sites in Martin and St. Lucie Counties. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and adhere to radiation safety protocols. The role includes working collaboratively with medical teams to obtain accurate diagnostic imagery and providing high-quality patient care. Additional responsibilities include quality control of Nuclear equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Certification with Nuclear Medicine Technologists Board (NMTCB) or equivalent
- Proficiency in Nuclear Medicine procedures and the handling of radiopharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and protocols
- Strong understanding of medical imaging and related technologies
- Effective communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
- Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred
