The Section Manager will plan and coordinate all the maintenance activities in the Hot Mill in accordance with safety, material quality and production standards.

Summary Of Responsibilities
- Direct salaried and hourly maintenance workforce to meet the company’s goals and objectives with regard to Safety, Environmental and Quality as the top priorities.
- Manages department needs to achieve results within the allotted budget.
- Manages department scheduling needs to meet the set overtime objectives.
- Assures proper implementation of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Provides assistance to Maintenance and Operating shift managers on maintenance schedule and other matters.
- Tracks completion of all corrective action follow-ups to assure continuous improvement.
- Tracks delay performance for both mechanical and electrical related issues and prioritizes work to continue to improve the weakest areas.
- Manages the Hot Mill Maintenance budget.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional education is preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and effective management skills to direct employees in efficient operations.
- Ability to evaluate problems and make efficient decisions.
- Experience working in union environment.
