Summary Of Responsibilities
- Support existing Automation Systems on operational units.
- Design and implement Automation System upgrades on new and existing units.
- Interact with multiple departments to implement process changes and commission new units.
- Analyze problems to find root causes involving user contact occasionally to diagnose the problem.
- Be willing to respond to troubleshoot calls on a 24/7 basis.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with DC drives (Powerflex, ABB, Sinamics, or Reliance) and large DC motors
- Experience in PLC programming (ControlLogix, TIA Portal, or Automax).
- Experience with SCADA systems (FactoryTalk, Ignition, WinCC)
- Experience with Trending systems (iba)
- 3-5 years of industrial automation experience.
- Administration of Windows PCs.
- Knowledge of control theory (PID and PI control)
- Project Management Experience.
- Knowledge of Continuous Processing lines.
- Knowledge of Rolling Theory.
- Strong background in mathematics
