Summary Of Responsibilities
- Assign and manage required outside processing steps and processors in SAP for applicable customer orders
- Collaborate with Outside Processing and Quality teams to understand processor capabilities, capacities, and operational constraints
- Work with Central Quality to establish and maintain rules ensuring orders are routed for Outside Processing (OP) review in SAP when required
- Monitor order flow and troubleshoot system or routing issues, working with IT to resolve SAP-related discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
- B.S. degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of steel industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer basics including Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or processors
