A Premium Development Specialist is dedicated to discovering opportunities for prospects and current members to utilize Rocket Arena, with an emphasis on proactive engagement, creative solutions, and personalized benefits. This role builds strong relationships through ongoing outreach, networking, communicating with clients, anticipating their needs and secure long-term loyalty. The ultimate goal is to consistently exceed their sales goals, while upholding a premium standard and representing the team with their best foot forward in all interactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual annual goal by selling different products including, but not limited to: Suite Leases, Memberships (both one-year & multi-year commitments), Partial Plans, Single-Event Suites, Single-Game Premium Seating, & Groups.
- Prospecting, conducting appointments, and selling B2B (business-to-business).
- Expected to meet and/or exceed weekly hustle metrics including phone calls, out of office appointments, and total touchpoints.
- Utilizing Salesforce throughout the sales process including taking detailed notes, tracking appointments, logging hustle metrics, and confirming sales activities.
- Gameday responsibilities include meeting with prospective clients to sell.
- One-on-one weekly meetings with your team leader focused on personal and professional development, as well as weekly meetings with the entire premium team.
- Creativity, innovation, and collaboration of best practices amongst team members is looked for.
- Opportunity to sell and keep up to a $1M book of business, consisting of 10-20 premium season ticket holders.
- Any additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by our Sr. Manager, Premium Sales.
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on business, sports, sales, or related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience in sales; working in sports and entertainment industry preferred.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be willing/available to work most home Cavs games.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask/manage multiple priorities.
- Can operate well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of B2B, membership, and group selling.
