Accounts Payable Processor

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for an A/P Processor.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a A/P processor to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Position Summary:

This position mandates that the employee be able to perform all of the following functions:

Enter accounts payable invoice information into SAP, route accounts payable invoices for approval, reconcile vendor statements, handle vendor questions and inquiries, filing, and other functions as assigned by necessity.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position may perform any combination of the following duties:

• Open and stamp mail for approval routing
• Check approvals against invoice information
• Maintain department records
• Filing, scanning, stuffing a/p checks in envelopes
• Enter invoices into accounting system
• Answer phone calls from vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Substitute in accounting department as needed
• Operate basic office equipment
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Understanding of Accounting department practices and procedures
• Knowledge of general accounting and billing terms/provisions as applied by Company standards
• Working skills in math, basic accounting, and computer applications
• Ability to decipher and apply information from varying billing formats
• Knowledge of SAP, as well as Microsoft office, preferred
• One year experience in an accounting-based clerical/support position, or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to Company
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
