• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality.
• Manage manual handling activities involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Use cleaning equipment properly, including vacuums, steam cleaners, mops, and other janitorial tools to maximize efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning supplies, equipment use, and outdoor work environments when applicable.
• Organize housekeeping tasks efficiently through effective time management to complete assignments promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and proper application techniques for different surfaces.
• Experience working outdoors or in outdoor work environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or projects.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
