Duties
- Operate CT scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Review images for quality assurance, make necessary adjustments, and assist in diagnostic evaluation by providing clear images for interpretation.
- Keep detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs in compliance with hospital protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CT scanners.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation.
