Clermont Northeastern Schools is seeking a Preschool Intervention Specialist to support young children who demonstrate developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, or learning needs. The Intervention Specialist works collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to provide targeted interventions that help children succeed in an inclusive preschool environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct intervention services to preschool-aged children, individually and in small groups
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's developmental progress
- Develop and implement intervention plans aligned with individual needs and program goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusive practices and effective strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports as required
- Partner with families by sharing strategies, progress updates, and resources
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing program planning
- Support positive behavior strategies and social-emotional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education & Preschool Intervention Specialist licensure
