We are a growing Multi Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) committed to providing exceptional outpatient surgical care with compassion, efficiency, and excellence. Our team works collaboratively to ensure a safe, high-quality experiences for our patients and a supportive, professional environment for our staff. Recently, we constructed a new state of the art Cardiac Cath Lab within our center. Medicare has expanded the ability for cardiac procedures to be performed within an ambulatory surgery center setting. These procedures include but are not limited to: Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs), Cardiac Catheterization, Device Implants, Electrophysiology Studies, and Peripheral Vascular Interventions. In addition to these procedures, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services have proposed adding Cardiac Catheter Ablations starting in 2026.
Position Summary
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and daily operations of the facility. This role serves as the liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and departments, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Serve as a liaison between the executives Board, Medical Staff, and departments.
- Report pertinent activities and metrics to administration regularly.
- Plan and direct services provided by the facility.
- Ensure compliance with ASC policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
- Develop, monitor, and manage staffing levels, operating budgets, and capital budgets.
- Lead purchasing and inventory management to stay within budget.
- Ensure exceptional patient safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for staff members.
- Lead discussions and presentations during monthly operations review calls with Administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare or ASC environment.
- Clinical background required, cardiac experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance in outpatient surgical settings.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
