We are hiring a part-time Court Specialist III as a Payment Reporting Specialist in our Delray Beach location!
At the Clerk’s Office, we provide hands-on training and a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of our court operations.
As a Payment Reporting Specialist, you’ll help keep court operations running smoothly by reviewing payment reports, processing electronic payments, updating case information, and clearing holds such as driver’s license suspensions. If you’re detail-oriented and enjoy a structured office, this position is for you!
Hours: 20 hours per work week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Schedule may be adjusted when necessary.
Location: 200 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach 33444
This position is eligible for a one dollar per hour stipend which has already been added to the salary advertised. The one dollar per hour stipend will be awarded upon completion of the introductory period. The stipend will no longer apply should the employee transfer out of this position.
High school diploma (or GED), supplemented by three (3) years of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Some vocational or college courses preferred. Once qualified, deputization may be required to perform the assigned functions.

- This position requires up to five days of mandatory onsite training which is conducted at the main courthouse (205 N. Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL 33401).
- Research unusual items or payment and accounting policy discrepancies and providing resolution accordingly.
- Ensure accuracy and verification of funds processed.
- Review all payments processed online for the purpose of ensuring accuracy in accounting and processing of transactions.
- Revising receipts when necessary to ensure that payments are distributed correctly on a case.
- Review driving records and process clearance of suspensions listed.
- Records and posts monetary transactions.
- Issue driver’s license clearance letters when necessary.
- Reinstate driver’s license if necessary.
