Job Description
Cleopatra Ink Tattoo & Piercing is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Tattoo Artist to join our Seattle, Washington studio on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for an artist who approaches tattooing as a disciplined craft, values fine art principles, and prioritizes hygiene, professionalism, and long-term client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate combines strong artistic vision with technical precision and delivers a high-standard client experience from consultation through aftercare.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional client consultations and create custom tattoo designs
- Apply tattoos with a strong focus on realism, dotwork, illustrative, and fine-art styles
- Maintain strict hygiene, sterilization, and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout the tattooing and healing process
- Provide detailed aftercare instructions and follow-up guidance
- Keep portfolio updated and stay current with tattoo techniques and trends
- Adhere to studio policies, ethical standards, and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional Tattoo Artist in a studio environment
- Strong skills in illustration, drawing, realism, dotwork, and portrait work
- Solid understanding of hygiene, safety, and professional tattoo practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong work discipline
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal tattoo education or certification from a recognized academy
- Experience working in high-standard or high-volume studios
- Technical or process-driven background is a strong plus
- English proficiency required; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
