Job Overview
As a Piercer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort during the piercing process. You will utilize your artistic skills and knowledge of body art to create a welcoming environment that promotes self-expression through body modifications.
Duties
- Perform body piercings in a safe, sterile, and professional manner, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide guidance on suitable piercing options.
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing and minimize complications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Assist in store management tasks, including inventory management, sales support, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for clients.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend appropriate jewelry options that enhance the client’s personal style.
- Illustrate design concepts for potential piercings when necessary, showcasing creativity and artistic ability.
Experience
- Proven experience in tattooing or body piercing is mandatory.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous, ensuring readiness for any unforeseen circumstances.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele effectively.
- Background in customer service or retail sales will be beneficial for enhancing client interactions.
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and best practices within the body art industry is required.
