Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed CAD drawings and design plans for residential projects, including new homes, renovations, and additions.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to refine concepts and incorporate design feedback.
- Prepare construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings as needed.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and structural requirements.
- Update and revise plans based on field changes and design modifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Chief Architect (required); experience with other design software is a plus.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in residential design or drafting (design/build experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
