This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Technician at our Charleston, SC location. The Veterinary Technician will assist in providing high-quality care to animals by supporting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries. Responsibilities include monitoring anesthesia, administering medications, educating clients on pet care, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. The role also involves compassionate communication with clients to build trust and ensure the well-being of their pets.
- Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care to ensure the well-being and comfort of animals.
- Expertise in Veterinary Technology, including administering medications and operating diagnostic equipment.
- Experience in Anesthesiology, including monitoring and supporting animals during surgical procedures.
- Strong Client Education skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and provide guidance on pet health and care.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment, demonstrating attention to detail and organization.
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Veterinary Technician certification or relevant experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is strongly preferred.
