Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lube, Oil & Filter Technician (LOF Tech) to join our Clement Ford service team. This role is perfect for someone looking to start or advance their career in automotive repair while working in a busy, professional shop environment with steady workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs
- Rotate tires and inspect tires for wear and damage
- Conduct multi-point inspections and document findings
- Replace wiper blades, batteries, and cabin/engine air filters as needed
- Identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for all services
- Participate in training to expand skills and support future advancement
Qualifications
- Prior lube technician or automotive assistant experience preferred, but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge and interest in learning automotive repair
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to pursue training and certifications
