Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of accounts payable and intercompany receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Record extensive credit card transactions and reconcile with the monthly statement(s).
- Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
- Reconcile bank account (daily basis).
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role (3-4 years).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dealership accounting
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
