This role partners cross-functionally to bring new products to life, optimize portfolio strategy, and strengthen category performance across channels.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Lead category strategy and innovation initiatives from concept through commercialization
- Partner with sales, marketing, R&D, finance, and operations to align priorities and execution
- Analyze shopper, category, and competitive data to identify growth opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of new products and product improvements
- Optimize product portfolio through performance analysis and SKU rationalization
- Develop pricing strategies and customer-specific recommendations with sales teams
- Create insights, tools, and training to support sales execution
- Monitor category performance and drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in CPG, food industry, or related sales/analytics roles
- Experience with product launches and commercialization
- Strong analytical skills including POS data (Circana, Nielsen) and internal data
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
