2nd Shift HVAC/Refrigeration Technician (Training in Ammonia Refrigeration Provided)

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-11pm

We’ll provide you with training in ammonia refrigeration, making this the perfect opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain a variety of critical facility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, dryers, HVAC equipment, scrubbers, water chillers, heaters, pumps, blowers, steam traps, and valves.
• Keep the facility running smoothly by performing system startups, shutdowns, and routine maintenance tasks like filter and oil changes.
• Troubleshoot system issues, make repairs, and collaborate with contractors when needed.
• Monitor control system parameters and conduct scheduled rounds to check on equipment performance.
• Test and adjust chemical levels for water treatment in condensers and boilers.
• Serve on the Hazmat Emergency Response Team, and wear a respirator, SCBA, or Level A suit when necessary.
• Be part of our Process Safety Management (PSM) program, following procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

What You Bring:

• A recent graduate or certificate holder from an HVAC program.

• Willingness to participate in our Hazmat Emergency Response Team and wear safety equipment when necessary.
• A commitment to safety and following all company policies and procedures.
