Machine OP III and Skilled Labor - 2nd Shift

Position Title: Machine Operator III
Location: Tyrone, PA
Schedule: 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm (Four - 10 hour shifts a week)
Employment Type: Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator III to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of production machinery to ensure smooth, continuous, and high-quality manufacturing runs. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to support ongoing production needs.

• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes, machine setup, cleaning, and tear-down.

• Apply knowledge of product specifications and profitability measures to make machine adjustments that optimize product quality and yield.

• Accurately read, comprehend, and enter production data in English.

• Complete daily production documentation, such as net weight sheets, label verification sheets, production run times, and man-hour logs.

• Follow and maintain certification in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.

• Direct workflow and collaborate with team members as needed to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating production machinery, preferably in a food or manufacturing environment.

• Certification in Lockout/Tagout procedures (or ability to obtain).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to understand and work within product and equipment specifications.

• Detail-oriented with strong recordkeeping and documentation abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with peers and supervisors.
