What You’ll Do:
- Drive a livestock trailer to farms, load live pigs, and safely deliver them to Clemens Food Group.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in excellent condition.
- Ensure all required invoices and paperwork are accurate and complete.
- Maintain control of equipment and livestock at all times, prioritizing safety and animal welfare.
- Communicate with dispatch and farmers to ensure smooth operations.
- Unload pigs safely and efficiently upon arrival.
What We’re Looking For:
- CDL Class A with air brake endorsement (required).
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in farm environments, including exposure to manure.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed based on plant operations.
