At Clemens Food Group, growth starts with people. Through Country View Family Farms, we partner with independent farmers and contract growers who play a critical role in our integrated pork production system.

We're looking for a Growth & Business Development Manager who can connect with farming communities, build meaningful partnerships, and help expand our network of contract growers across our regional footprint.

This is more than a traditional business development position. You'll help farmers explore opportunities to grow their operations, strengthen their businesses, and build something meaningful for future generations.

You'll also play a strategic role in identifying growth opportunities, developing expansion plans, and helping shape the future of our nursery, finishing, and wean-to-finish operations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Build lasting partnerships: Develop relationships with farmers, prospective contract growers, agricultural lenders, and industry partners to expand our grower network.
• Drive strategic growth: Identify and recruit new growers while supporting expansion of nursery, finishing, and wean-to-finish capacity.
• Create opportunities for farmers: Help prospective growers evaluate business opportunities, understand financial considerations, and navigate the process of joining our network.
• Lead projects from concept to execution: Coordinate site evaluations, contract negotiations, construction planning, and project milestones.
• Shape our growth strategy: Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify market opportunities, evaluate expansion needs, and develop long-term business plans.
• Represent Country View Family Farms: Build visibility and credibility within agricultural communities through networking, industry events, and relationships with local stakeholders.

Qualifications & Competencies

We're looking for a relationship-driven professional who combines agricultural knowledge with strong business judgment and a passion for growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Animal Science, or a related field, or relevant industry background.
• 3–5 years of experience in agricultural business development, livestock production, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of animal husbandry, livestock production systems, or farm facility operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, influence decisions, and negotiate agreements.
• Strong organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed, goal-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout regional farming communities.

Pork industry experience is highly preferred. Experience in poultry or other livestock production environments may also provide relevant transferable knowledge.

Location & Working Type

Indiana / Ohio-Based | Field-Focused Position

This position requires frequent regional travel to farms, prospective grower sites, industry events, and partner meetings.
