Your leadership will empower a high-performing QA team, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and internal KPIs, while spearheading initiatives. What You’ll Do
Talent Management (35%)
- Coach and train QA staff and oversee new hire onboarding.
- Conduct performance reviews (IPP), manage staffing and scheduling, and enforce accountability.
- Evaluate team performance aligned with departmental KPIs and make impactful changes.
Performance Management & Regulatory Oversight (50%)
- Lead resolution of food safety issues, NRs, USDA concerns, and micro deficiencies.
- Act as USDA liaison and partner closely with QA leadership for issue management.
- Identify and address systemic gaps in food safety and quality processes.
Team CFG Initiatives (10%)
- Reinforce company programs and initiatives within the QA team.
- Provide training for production team members handling FSQA tasks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and support/sales teams.
Process Validation & Innovation (5%)
- Validate CCPs and lead evaluations of pre-op programs and sanitation trends.
- Partner with the Lab to ensure sampling program effectiveness.
- Lead data-driven process enhancements in line with industry best practices.
