Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, supervision, and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and daily routines.
- Promote socialization and community integration through activities and experiences.
- Implement individualized support plans and behavior management strategies to meet each client's unique needs.
- Support clients in pre vocational and vocational training programs, including packaging, assembly, commercial laundry, and dog biscuit production.
- Assist clients in securing and maintaining employment in their communities through job coaching.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain all required clearances and complete necessary trainings.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am - 3:15 pm (33.75 hours/week)
