Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day basic maintenance and repair of Cleary Management Corporation and other related entities (CMC) including interior, exterior, systems and equipment. The Technician must be able to work independently as well as with others and under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to operate power tools, landscape tools and construction tools
- Ability to operate a personal computer using standard or customized software applications
- Ability to perform a wide variety of duties with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Required to work a varied work schedule, including weekend rotation
- Background check and drug screen required
Role Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Identifies with, shares in, and displays a commitment to the vision of CMC.
- Performs timely minor repair and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at all facilities.
- Keeps accurate records of time spent each day at the respective properties for allocation and billing purposes.
- Spots and solves problems with equipment and/or other capital at all facilities.
- Grounds and security maintenance (fencing, signs, gates, etc.).
- Keeps organized records of all maintenance and repairs for all facilities.
- Responds to regular work hour and after-hours alarm calls.
- Adheres to all safety requirements and wears proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Maintains tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Appliance repair & planned maintenance
- Drywall/plaster repair and painting
- Changing lights and/or fixtures
- Plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
- Carpentry repairs and installations (doors, shelves, countertops)
- Minor repair of electrical devices
- Concrete and asphalt paving repairs
- Water/maintain plants & plantings throughout properties
- Snowplow and snow shovel
- Servicing of dog parks on the property
- Cleaning of BBQ grills
- Filter changes
- Submits time sheets in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
