What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Cleary Building Corp.?
Job Summary/Objectives:
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing semi-trailer, forklifts, skidsteer, and vehicles.
- Performing preventative maintenance measures on all assets.
- Inspecting, servicing, and replacing parts as needed.
- Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensuring that equipment meets the DOT requirements.
- Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
- Paint, rebuild, and maintain all Cleary equipment so that it is in a presentable manor on the road and in front of our clients when delivering buildings.
Position Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of preventative maintenance, and ability to work on different aspects of equipment relating to; brakes, tires, oil changes, electrical components, hydraulic components, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and use diagnostic equipment to find probable cause.
- Current FedMed Card or ability to successfully complete a DOT physical.
- Have a foundation of tools to help complete everyday jobs, Cleary also will supply certain specialty tools and equipment in the Maintenance/dealership shop.
- Received a High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical degree, ASE Certification, and CDL are all desired qualifications but not required.
- Willing to train and provide continuous training and education.
