The Assistant Controller is a member of the Accounting department leadership team with direct tax, inventory, costing and accounts receivable responsibility. The Assistant Controller also supports AP, payroll, general accounting and reporting, as well as Branch office administration. There is a defined career path with the opportunity to succeed into the Controller role within the near future.

- Member of Accounting Department Leadership Team
- Lead and manage Tax, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Accounts Receivable functions, and provide support to all other accounting functions and Branch office administration
- Hands on in the production of financial reports and metrics on a weekly basis
- Exciting fast paced work environment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
- CPA required
- Public Accounting Experience strongly preferred
- Construction industry and multi-location experience preferred
- 3 or more years’ experience as an Assistant Controller or equivalent level
- Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics and Microsoft Office Products a plus
- Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness are of the utmost importance
- Strong analytical, organizational, financial and reporting skill
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced / demanding environment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, motivated self-starter

Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting compensation between $115,000-$125,000/year along with a bonus plan
