Position Summary
As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills while implementing behavior-reduction strategies. This role is active, hands-on, and deeply rewarding, you’ll see the impact of your work every day.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed and trained by a BCBA.
- Collect accurate data on client progress during every session.
- Support clients with daily living, play, communication, and social skills while honoring their dignity and unique strengths.
- Collaborate with caregivers and supervisors to ensure treatment is family-centered and meaningful.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment and follow safety and confidentiality standards.
- Complete required administrative tasks related to service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training, feedback, and supervision to strengthen your skills and uphold Clearway’s standards of compassionate expertise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred).
- Completion of the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training within 30 days of hire (company-supported if not already certified).
- Strong commitment to client-centered care and ethical practice.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following structured treatment protocols.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage physically with clients, including sitting on the floor, active play, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Basic computer and technology skills for data collection and communication.
- Experience in behavioral health, education, or childcare is a plus but not required, we provide training and mentorship.
