What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Attendant position at Clearwater Tides LLC?
We are currently seeking a Marina Attendant to join our team at our marina. The Marina Attendant will be responsible for the general care of the marina, maintenance, security and to assist marina boat owners with their needs. Boat lift maintenance / experience, not required but a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting boaters with docking and undocking their boats
· Keeping marina clean by routine cleaning duties on a daily basis to keep the highest cleanliness standards.
· Monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of the marina and its patrons
· Handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
· Assisting with boat launches and haul-outs
· Various marina tasks directed by the Dockmaster from adjusting lifts for boats, securing boats in wet slips, etc.
· Empty of garbage and cleaning of garbage receptacles.
· Implementing proper storm securing for marina and boats.
· Performing routine maintenance on the docks and equipment
· Reporting any issues or concerns to the marina management team
Preferred SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Boat lift maintenance / experience
- Positive attitude around the marina and when interacting with customers.
- Be able to follow directions and don’t hesitate to ask if you don’t understand something.
- Can perform tasks by yourself.
- Previous dock hand experience a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of boating safety and regulations a plus
- Available for weekend projects or emergencies.
