What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist position at Clearwater Sports Massage?
Hello! We’re happy to see you are considering working for us at Clearwater Sports Massage. We are looking for someone who has athletic hobbies, knows more than the basic muscles and uses their massage therapy license to help treat pain naturally within their community.
If you’re familiar with trigger point therapy, active release techniques, neuromuscular or neurosomatic techniques that is a huge plus to us. We are also looking for individuals with a background in corrective exercise and/or personal training. Must have current Massage Therapy license as well as a current Personal Training certificate.
Although it’s not preferred, if you are not familiar with any of the bodywork styles mentioned above, we are willing to train the right person as long as they are enthusiastic and coach able.
We’re looking to be someone’s only focus. You’ll earn a full time income and only work 30 hours a week. We don’t recommend multiple massage jobs as our clientele are typically athletic and require deep myofascial release.
We want someone who fits in with a pleasant and slightly social working environment. Meaning, we will have monthly meetings, in person demonstrations with food and light social interaction with each other and clients. All of which will be paid time if you are involved. Our owners will also teach classes periodically that our employees are welcome to attend.
