• Support on-demand manufacturing, including capacity planning, resource utilization, and workflow optimization
• Assist with production scheduling and ensure schedules are achieved to support on-time delivery
• Lead shift start-up meetings to communicate production goals, processes, and requirements
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including inbound and outbound shipments as needed
• Optimize production workflows, material movement, and inventory usage within assigned areas
• Communicate equipment and facility issues to Maintenance and support resolution
• Provide operational coverage for staffing needs, breaks, lunches, and vacancies
• Promote a safe work environment by supporting safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed by assigned team members
• Conduct safety observations and address opportunities for improvement
• Ensure customer service, product quality, equipment, and operator performance standards are maintained
• Ensure quality processes, procedures, and documentation requirements are followed
• Reinforce quality expectations and promote a culture of producing high-quality products
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback to support accountability and development
• Support training plans to build employee knowledge, skills, and compliance with company practices
• Provide backup support for production leadership as needed
• 5 years of pulp and paper industry experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of operating processes and production roles
• Experience with sheeting and cutting technologies including Jagenberg, Synchro, Marquip, Sheet Runner, Syebold, Guillotine, or Ream Cutter
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in manufacturing and operational areas, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat, and steel-toed footwear
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, temperature variations, and industrial conditions
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling as required by the role
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and working on concrete or uneven surfaces
• Climbing stairs, ladders, platforms, or elevated work areas as required by the role
