Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by conducting legal research and drafting necessary documents.
- Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date within document management systems.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
- Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. File and serve documents when needed.
- Review and summarize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Support the execution of estate planning documents and provide assistance in family law matters.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and updates while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks related to ongoing cases.
- Assist in filing documents with courts and maintaining compliance with deadlines.
Skills
- Proven paralegal experience in various fields including family law.
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks including data entry, clerical experience, transcription, document review, proofreading, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with family law pleadings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent research skills for conducting thorough legal investigations.
- Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents while adhering to proper formatting standards.
