What are the responsibilities and job description for the EKG Technician position at Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants?
Certified EKG Technician needed full-time/daytime (Mon-Fri) position. Tasks include assisting with our stress testing in our Nuclear Medicine labs and working in our Cardiac Monitoring Dept. Rotating at our Clearwater, Safety Harbor and Largo locations will be required. Our practice mission is to deliver high quality and excellence in cardiovascular medicine. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma, CET, CMA Certificate with EKG/telemetry training, BLS. Previous experience in a cardiology setting with computer and electronic medical record experience is also preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and professional attitude, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include assisting with stress testing in our Nuclear Medicine departments, obtaining patient vitals, IV phlebotomy, application of holter and extended monitor devices and holter monitor analysis.
