Residential House Manager Job Description
Clearwater Assisted Living, LLC is a rapidly growing assisted living organization with core competencies in assisted and transitional care throughout Wisconsin. We serve adults with disabilities in the greater Eau Claire community. Our primary staff are Direct Support Professionals who assist our clients and residents by providing long term care and in-home care options. The positions we offer range from Direct Support Professionals to Program Managers.
General Role Description:
The Residential House Manager plays an integral role in the Residential Program at Clearwater Assisted Living. The Residential House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned Adult Family Home.
This position is full-time, 40-45 hours a week Monday-Friday working typically 8a-4p. The Residential House Manager is on-call for resident emergencies, immediate staff questions and staff call-ins during after hours operations. The Residential House Manager is supervised by the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Resident Management
- Assist with de-escalation techniques and retraining with staff
- Assist with resident care management (appointments, medication oversight, general support and problem solving)
- Prompt and support daily living skills and goals
- Participate in Member Centered Plan reviews
Adult Family Home Administration
- Keep track and record the Adult Family Home weekly allowance
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Create the weekly DSP schedule
- Pick up weekly groceries for the home
- Review and update mileage logs
- Review and ensure completion of activity logs, daily staff logs, MARS, and cleaning logs
- Submit Monthly Summaries to Program Manager for review
- Complete monthly turnover for documentation
- Lead and support your team
- Conduct Performance Reviews
