Product Marketing Manager - Hedge Funds

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Clearwater’s Hedge Fund segment, with a primary focus on our front-to-back platform, from order and portfolio management through risk, research, accounting and managed services.

This role is responsible for positioning, differentiating, and bringing to market Clearwater’s hedge fund capabilitiesacross strategies and asset classes. You will translate sophisticated front-to-back office workflows into clear, compelling value propositions for portfolio managers, traders, CFOs, COOs, and operations leaders.

You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Services, Managed Services, other business stakeholders, and the broader Marketing team to drive adoption, pipeline, and competitive wins, while serving as the voice of the hedge fund market back into product strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Positioning & Messaging

• Own positioning and messaging for Clearwater’s hedge fund platform
• Articulate value across research, portfolio construction, pre-trade risk, order lifecycle management, execution workflows, real-time positions and P&L, and accounting and reporting
• Develop differentiated narratives for portfolio managers, traders, CFOs, COOs, and heads of operations

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

• Lead GTM planning for new capabilities, enhancements, integrations, and managed services
• Translate product roadmaps into customer-ready value propositions, use cases, and launch assets
• Partner with Brand, Demand Gen, and Field Marketing on segment-specific programs and launches

Competitive Differentiation

• Position Clearwater clearly against incumbent and next-generation hedge fund technology providers, both point solutions and integrated platforms
• Develop competitive messaging, battlecards, and proof points grounded in real trading, investment and operational workflows
• Enable Sales to confidently articulate Clearwater’s strengths in scalability, integration, data integrity, and operational efficiency

Sales & Client Enablement

• Build high-impact sales assets including pitch decks, demo narratives, solution briefs, and customer stories
• Support strategic opportunities and executive-level conversations with tailored messaging
• Equip Sales, Client Services, and Managed Services to sell into complex, multi-strategy hedge fund environments

Market & Customer Insight

• Develop deep understanding of hedge fund operating models, strategies, technology stacks, and buyer personas
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback, win/loss insights, and market trends
• Influence product priorities by representing validated market needs back to Product Management

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• 7 years of experience in Product Marketing in fintech, capital markets, or investment management technology
• Strong knowledge of investment management businesses and their technology, ideally with direct hedge fund experience
• Strong understanding of hedge fund workflows, including trading, portfolio management, risk, and operations
• Experience with front-to-back or multi-module platforms (direct OMS/PMS experience is a plus)
• Proven ability to translate complex, real-time platforms into compelling market narratives
• Strong competitive instincts and executive communication skills
• BA/BS required

Salary Range

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Salary : $102,000 - $144,000
