Position Summary
The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and strategically aligned customer quotes that support profitability, operational feasibility, and customer satisfaction. This role ensures strict adherence to pricing guidelines, margin expectations, and documentation standards while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed and accurate customer quotes using the company quoting system
· Ensure all required quote fields and specifications are completed
· Validate customer, product, and pricing data
· Apply margin guidelines and ensure compliance with thresholds
· Document and manage pricing exceptions and approvals
· Develop complete quote sheets with detailed specifications
· Maintain accurate documentation and file storage
· Coordinate quote-to-order transition with Customer Service
· Utilize system tools to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
· Apply overrides only when necessary and document justification
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivilant
· 2 years of estimating, pricing, or manufacturing experience preferred
· Experience with ERP or quoting systems is a plus
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
