Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedules staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule
- Notifies staff of schedule and necessary schedule changes
- Receives incoming calls and directs appropriately to address nursing scheduling issues
- Obtains permission from the Director of Nursing/Administrator prior to scheduling overtime or nursing registry personnel
- Adjusts schedules as needed to accommodate changes, i.e., illness, vacation, PTO days, etc.
- Collaborates with Nursing Administration daily to ensure adequate and appropriate staff is allocated
- Assists nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed
- Assists payroll manager with processing of weekly payroll and appropriate nursing hours
- Active CNA License required
- Long Term Care experience preferred
