Job description
Performs medication administration including training of direct care staff in medication administration.
- Advocate for the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of the students
- Perform health screenings and health care assessments
- Provide healthcare to students in accordance with nursing scope, knowledge, and experience
Works in a team environment within the scope of practice as defined by the state
- Communicate with parents, staff, doctors, therapists, pharmacists and medical facilities in communicating and coordinating care needs/services
- Manage and maintain laboratory accounts used for UDS (urine drug screens)
- Works closely with clinical team regarding medication management for all students
- Administers psychotropic and other medications documenting in electronic medication management system
- Documents in electronic medical record in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with charting guidelines
- Adhere to other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least a CNA. Must have current license and/or registration to practice in the State of Montana

- Experience in family practice/primary care preferred
- Experience in mental health and emergency/triage preferred
